South Park High School tech education teachers Mr. Ryan Siniawski and Mr. Dave Bailey gratefully accepted a donation of inspection tools by Flowserve Corporation. Mr. Michael Toth, South Park parent and quality assurance supervisor for Flowserve Corporation, presented the tools to Mr. Siniawski and Mr. Bailey on Friday, October 26.
The tools will be used in Project Lead the Way engineering courses where students statistically study measurement, tolerances and accuracy. The tools will be used to precisely measure and test the BotsIQ battle-bot parts and repair machining equipment.
“Having industry standard sets in the students’ hands will be a tremendous teaching aid and will allow us to provide real-world applications and experience in high-precision quality control,” said Mr. Siniawski.
