South Park Elementary Center is excited to host this year's annual Camp Kindergarten event and student screenings on Friday, May 17.
It takes place at South Park Elementary Center, located at 2001 Eagle Pride Lane, South Park, PA 15129. Anyone attending must enter through the main entrance. There will be signage posted to help guide those who are new to the building. The event occurs on an Act 80 day, when no current SPSD students will be in session.
If you have registered for kindergarten for the 2024-2025 school year and do not have a screening appointment, or forgot your time, please call (412) 655-3111, extension 4000.
Students and families are encouraged to visit Camp Kindergarten following their screening appointment. This will be held in the elementary center gym and cafeteria. Teachers have prepared fun, interactive activities at various stations for their future South Park Eagles, as well as several informational booths for families to learn more about kindergarten and SPEC. Elementary principals, teachers, and staff will be there to greet students and families and help answer any questions they may have.
There is no schedule or agenda for the Camp Kindergarten event. Attendees are able to do as many of the activities and spend as much time there as they would like following their child’s screening appointment.
