SPSD Calendar Update: September 16, 2024

South Park Families:
We are writing to let you know of two changes that have been made to the district calendar. During last night’s Board of School Directors’ monthly meeting, the Board unanimously approved these two updates to the school calendar:
• There will be no school for students on Monday, October 14, 2024. This date will now be an Act 80 Day for staff members.
• The last day of school is now Friday, June 6, 2025. As in previous years, each school will have an early dismissal on this day.
Please note that graduation for seniors has not changed. You may also want to pencil these changes into the printed calendar mailed to your home over the summer. As we noted in that publication, changes can occur throughout the year and we sincerely appreciate the understanding and flexibility of our families as we strive to provide the best possible educational experience for our students, staff, and school community this year and every year.
