South Park School District and our greater community began the spring season with the grand opening of our new multi-use ballfield!
Our community came together to celebrate with a fun-filled tailgate featuring food, drinks, games, face painting, and special guests like the Pirate Parrot, the Pirates Pierogies and Sparky the Eagle. After the first-pitch and ribbon-cutting ceremonies by our School Board members and administrators, the baseball team stepped up to the plate knocked it out of the park by earning a victory.

The revitalized complex will serve as the home field for our high school varsity and junior varsity baseball, as well as varsity and junior varsity softball teams. The versatile multi-use field will offer a dedicated practice space for various activities, including band rehearsals, boys and girls soccer, and other sports teams.
Thank you to everyone who contributed to this special event, as well as Raising Cane’s for providing some of the delicious food and drink.
