Dear Members of the Class of 2026 and Parents/Guardians:
We hope you’re having an enjoyable summer. It is important to begin preparations for your senior year at South Park. One of the first items you should consider is to make the necessary arrangements for your senior photo session. In order to make sure that your photo makes it into next year’s yearbook, it is highly recommended that you schedule your senior photo session during the summer. Please review the following requirements before setting out to have your picture taken for the yearbook.
All photos must meet the following requirements:
• Color digital photo, 1.5" x 2”
• At least 300 dpi
• RGB JPEG format
• Head and shoulders pose only – please no bare shoulders or hands in your picture
• No hats, no props, no sunglasses
• Formal dress/business casual is requested
• A plain background is suggested
• All pictures will need to be submitted to the yearbook via email
([email protected])
• Submissions must be received no later than Tuesday, October 14, 2025.
Please note that if the deadline or photo specifications are not met, your senior image may not be
included in South Park's yearbook, the 2025-2026 edition of Aquila (Yearbook). For your information,
South Park High School has a contract with M&M Photography (4934 Library Road, Bethel Park; (412)
854-1414) to photograph the high school’s underclassmen, staff, student organizations, and athletic
teams. In exchange for these photography privileges, Aquila strongly encourages you to patronize
M&M for your senior portrait as well.
Ultimately, it is your decision as to where you should have your senior photo taken. It is also your
responsibility to ensure that a digital copy of your photo is sent via email. M&M sends all senior
photos taken at its studio directly to the high school yearbook adviser. If you choose a studio other
than M&M, you will need to check if the studio you selected provides this service.
Senior year is a true milestone in every person’s life. Help Aquila represent your graduating class
accurately by taking the appropriate steps in getting your senior picture taken in a professional and
timely fashion.
Best of luck in the upcoming school year!
Sincerely,
The Aquila Staff
