South Park senior Cathryn Holmes and junior Michael Ridgeway have been named 2019 Carson Scholars. Only 8,000 students nationwide are named Carson Scholars. Students who earn this honor are recognized for their academic achievement and community service.
Cathryn also earned the distinction as a Carson Scholar in 2018.
Both Cathryn and Michael will be honored at an awards banquet at Heinz Field on Sunday, April 7.
